POLARIS RZR XP 1000 RACKBOSS® 2.0 RACK AND PINION

Rack Boss® 2.0 Does What Other Racks Can’t

Every rack eventually wears down, gets sloppy, and makes your steering and responsiveness feel like crap. Or at least every rack did until Rack Boss® 2.0. We took our original Rack Boss and upgraded it to be the strongest, most durable rack on the market. It’s also made with our X24 Tech—a dual-bushing design you can’t get anywhere else. It reduces the wear you’d see on stock by over 50%. With SuperATV’s Rack Boss® 2.0 Rack and Pinion installed on your Polaris RZR XP 1000, you can run massive tires and tackle deadly terrain. You can ride the way you want every day for years and quit worrying about your rack. Our rack and pinion systems are Built for Battle, ensuring responsive steering even in the toughest conditions.

Minimizes Wear and Tear with Our Dual-Bushing Design

We use a dual PTFE bushing design to prevent the wear and tear that you’re used to. Thanks to our X24 Tech, which uses tough bushings at both ends of the rack, Rack Boss® 2.0 can power through bigger hits with larger tires without getting sloppy steering. You get like-new operation that lasts longer than any other RZR 1000 steering rack. Plus, the built-in grease fittings allow you to push out all the crud that can get in when you go hard in mud or water. It’s only possible with Rack Boss® 2.0.

Swaged Tube Tie Rods

Our steel swaged tube tie rods are lightweight but strong. Our swaged design significantly improves the strength of the 7/8” diameter tubing. They feature rebuildable inner ball and sockets that use beefy 14” rod threads and 16 mm rack threads. They’re paired with 14 mm outer tie rod ends to make sure the weak points are as strong as possible. They’re perfect for the casual rider that’s tired of their stock performance.

Solid Steel Bar Tie Rods

Solid steel bar tie rods give you the robust strength you need to ride through rough terrain. They’re perfect for turning big tires through slop and navigating boulder fields. The 1” diameter steel rod is paired with beefy tie rod ends—3/4” outer tie rods and rebuildable inner tie rods that use 3/4” rod threads and 16 mm rack threads. All that strength lets you get wild.

Billet Aluminum Hex Tie Rods

If you want the strongest, lightest, and best looking tie rods for your RZR 1000, you want our billet aluminum hex tie rods. The polished billet construction is big and beefy, giving you the long-term durability you want without adding a ton of weight. They come complete with our oversized 3/4” outer tie rod ends and rebuildable inner tie rod ends that use 3/4” rod threads and 16 mm rack threads. For the biggest builds, hardest rides, and neck-turning good looks, these are the tie rods for you.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What does the Rack Boss 2.0 rack and pinion do for my Polaris RZR XP 1000 steering? Rack Boss 2.0 eliminates sloppy steering and gives you tighter, more consistent control on every ride. It uses a beefier housing and a dual PTFE bushing design that reduces internal wear and keeps your steering feeling like new longer than stock.

Is the Rack Boss 2.0 stronger than the OEM Polaris RZR XP 1000 rack? Yes. Rack Boss 2.0 uses a housing that’s 65% larger than stock and delivers over 50% less wear than OEM after 15,000 cycles. It’s a major durability upgrade built for aggressive riding.

What makes SuperATV’s Rack Boss 2.0 different from other aftermarket racks? We engineered Rack Boss 2.0 with a dual PTFE bushing design that stabilizes internal components and prevents the wear that causes steering play. Combined with heavy‑duty tie rod options and a reinforced housing, it outperforms typical aftermarket racks in longevity and steering precision.

How hard is it to install the Rack Boss 2.0 on my RZR XP 1000? Installation is straightforward with standard tools, and we provide detailed downloadable instructions to walk you through the process. Virtual Mechanic support is also available if you want live guidance during the install.

Does the Rack Boss 2.0 help with steering issues at higher speeds or on rough terrain? Yes. The upgraded housing and dual‑bushing design keep the internals tight, improving responsiveness at speed and reducing steering fade in rough conditions. You get more confidence and better control when the trail gets unpredictable.

Can I rebuild or service the tie rod ends on this rack? Absolutely. Rack Boss 2.0 uses rebuildable inner tie rod ends with 3/4” rod threads and 16 mm rack threads, allowing you to service them instead of replacing the entire assembly.
